Facial hair on Buzznet is nothing new. It has always been on the faces of those bold enough to grow their own—or those too lazy to take a razor to their excessive testosterone facial forests. For those sans whiskers or the ability to grow them, people have gone so far as to affix their mustache like creations to the barren area above their lips. This year was without exception. I dare say that this excitement will continue and gain momentum as The World Beard & Mustache Championships are held in Anchorage, Alaska, this coming May ’09! —Richard Flores, Buzznet Staff Guy, elrich

10. Parker
If you don’t know Parker, it’s high time you did. If you don’t really want to take the effort to make Parker your new friend, you should at least attempt to know his beard. Look at that thing. Let’s not call it a thing. Parker’s beard deserves some sort of proper noun, something grand. We can call this the Taj Majal of the Western Face. This beard would make the heartiest of lumberjacks jealous. I bet Parker.s beard creates all those graphics for Buzznet that he takes credit for.


 
9. PanasonicMark
I’m sure many of you know this face already. Is someone harassing you in a thread? Talk to the beard. Do you have questions about the new Buzznet User Homepages? The beard has the answers. Let’s move passed the beard we have come to know and talk about that mustache. That mustache belongs to someone that drives this:



Mark has had facial hair since he was around 10 years old, and it shows. He wears his whiskers with the pride of a surly sailor on shore leave in Singapore.





8. GermBot
I know you see the foot. Either Germbot is flexible or we are missing the context here. I like to think that Germbot is enlightened and assuming a new form of the lotus position that will take mankind to a new era of awesome. I guess he just has one of those beards that people can’t keep their hands or feet off of. It’s like a carpet, except on his face and made of curly black hairs.  You know, kind of like a dry shower floor.



7. TrendySecret
Let us reflect on the glory that is the Finger Stache. TrendySecret is a shining example of what I hope is the new meaning of “giving someone the finger.” I know, fair maidens. I know that various genetic circumstances have conspired against you and your inability to grow your own 'stache. I commend you and your ability to make due with markers. Testosterone, be damned! A valiant effort! Bravo!



6. Clndstn
Clndstn has taken the Finger Stache and simply created an entirely new face. Not that the old one was bad, it’s just this is like, and I’m talking in comedic terms here, a bajillion times better. From the background and hard, plastic blue chair in the photo, I’m going to say juice and a nap were what followed this rousing round of creative genius.



5. Yumna
Here is a photo of a moustache with a moustache taken by a Yumna with a moustache. This is like looking at a mirror that is held up in front of a mirror and all you see is a bunch of mirrors.

4. xBlanksFace and 3. JerryFetus
If Buzznet were a deck of cards, these two would be the jokers. Look at those faces. Look at what’s on their faces. I don’t know if I want to pinch their cute little cheeks or fall over laughing. I’d do both but I would probably take the mustaches with me. Like the mustaches on their faces, these two add instant LOLz to any Buzznet thread. Hopefully, these two are a tad more permanent and not as bristly.





2. TheSusieQ
SusieQ is the new Gomez Adams, except really cute. I'm sure with a little make up and some excellent wig placement, I could be her Morticia. All we need now is an extra hand to be "Thing."





1. GreenEyesBlueSkies
Inspired by bomb threats and evil villians, GreenEyesBlueSkies dawned her finest in Parisian garb and snapped this most amazing of photos. A good likeness, don't you agree? Well, you can disagree but I don't think that's very wise, given the inspiration of the outfit.





In the coming year, I look forward to fixing my gaze upon your bearded and mustache'd mugs.  On the face Buzznet, this article is but the sporadically growing hairs of a teenage mustache. One day, the mustache will have a more prominent place on Buzznet. While it is traditionally located under the nose of the wearer, I would hope that the mustache holds a special place in your heart.[/cut]
 

Call it what you want, but these new kids on the block have definitely got the right stuff. Every time I read their silly journals or look at their amazing photos, I wonder if they say to themselves, "Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time?" No matter what these NKOTB are doing, they definitely have a unique way of looking at the world around them. Hopefully they can keep hangin' tough around Buzznet and keep us entertained with more of their unique stylings for some time to come. 10. StarlorSummers - Haiku Extraordinaire
Are you living a busy life that calls for your every waking moment to be planned out in your BlackBerry? Can't waste your time reading the synopsis of a film on Rotten Tomatoes? Then StarlorSummers has the answer for you in poetry form! Thank the skies above for feudal Japan and the creators of the Haiku. Three lines and seventeen syllables have never been more carefully constructed than by our own StarlorSummers. Just check out the deep, philosophical ponderings that arise when confronted with Starlor's masterful crafting of the Haiku below:



Surely, this is a question that will stump the best minds throughout the coming ages. Now, you can say you were there when this great shadow of thought loomed over the land of Haiku.

9. EstheticAsylum
With but a few Featured Photos under her belt, EstheticAsylum can only gain momentum. Her photos have a playful arrangement and often the color bursts right out of your screen.



Her photos are also starting to become arranged in a manner that makes you confront your thoughts on her various subjects.



With shots like these, the only way EstheticAsylum can go is up!

8. NickLeonard
Move over Wayne Newton, the new Mr. Las Vegas is coming! Despite his young age, NickLeonard is a young man about town. Everywhere he goes, his camera and good friends accompany him. Whether he's writing witty blogs that infuse fashion with his observations about life or taking photos of his friends, he really covers all his Buzznet bases.



Perhaps the photo below is a glimpse of what the future holds for NickLeonard. Maybe he can pack up his ambitions and motor out to the next big thing and make a name for himself there. With photos and blogs like his, I'm sure there isn't anything he couldn't handle or do.



7. Sandrrra
Where do I even begin with Sandrrra? Just take a look at these:





One of the things that makes Sandrrra so unique to a lot of us is her geography. Her landscape photography is but a glimpse into the beauty that is Poland. Her self portraits are anything just short of amazing. It seems as though she is finding out who she is with every click of the shutter. Here's to the adventure and stellar photos that her self discovery will bring!

6. AlyHeartsCandy
If Aly hearts candy, I heart Aly and all her awesome-osity! Even though she is a student at Brooks Institute of Photography, she still has time to post here on Buzznet and give us a glimpse into her life. She also writes journals that are silly and appreciative. Enough of my blathering, let's see what all the fuss is about!



That doesn't look like one of her many fashion photo shots. It looks like loads of fun! Aly really enjoys the art of fashion photography and it shows. She really is a versatile photographer. From portraits, fashion shoots, and even nature, she'll leave school with what I gather will be one heck of a portfolio!



5. GreenEyesBlueSkies
A shining star in her own right, Ola is a beacon of creativity that shines bright in the Buzznet skies. Her photos document her life and times with a tranquil vibrancy that seems to come from a more experienced hand. She's one of our Concert Photographers and her work has all the makings of a seasoned veteran. Looking at her photos makes me wonder just how much greater her work will become in the years to come!





4. RyanRussell
I know, I know. You're probably thinking, "Hey! Ryan had an account ages ago!" Well, this is my honorable mention, my list and my rules. He has been shooting some amazing shots as of late so I had to throw this up. Also, this guy made PanasonicYouth look good in a dumpster. Not that Mark needs any sprucing up, but I mean really, HE MADE MARK LOOK GOOD WHILE DUMPSTER DIVING! Before I forget to mention it, Ryan also made BreeSays look like an entirely different person altogether.



My poor grasp of the English language would do no justice to RyanRussell and his knack for concert photography. I mean, how am I supposed to describe this:



Clearly, words can only do so much. I haven't the foggiest of what the thousand words would be that I would need to describe this. I will leave the talent to those that have it and clearly, RyanRussell has it.

3. IShootShows
This is one of those photos that makes me WANT to listen to The Academy Is. It is such an interesting shot that I wonder "Why would such an amazing photographer take a photo this brilliant of these blokes? They MUST be worth the listen." Todd's photos bring the concert right into your home. You can almost smell the myriad of hair care products and cheap booze from the audience. With such snazzy photos such as these, it's no wonder that IShootShows and his photo of Cobra Starship was featured in the January 09 issue of AP!





2. TheSusieQ
When she isn't taking shots for Little Rocker Media, she taking photos that will take your breathe away. Her portrait shots let you glimpse into the strange workings that are her thoughts. Often serious, sometimes playful, her camera craftings will leave you in wonder.





Her concert photography is quickly coming on par with her portraiture. While she shoots the bands she enjoys listening to in a SRS BSNS style, her soon to be dabbles in the fine art of interviewing will be anything but. As she wraps up the school year in the months to come, keep an eye out for her in years that follow.

The tinest Buzznet Ambassador, this fair lass was sent from the great beyond to grace us with her unique writing style. She's covered shows on behalf of Buzznet, like The Compromising of Integrity, Morality & Principles in Exchange for Money Tour and she's even done a Metro Station Community Round Up. This isn't all that she's done. This isn't the half. She's taken photos, done show reviews, and thrown her insight and heart into her journals. It's no wonder we've taken a liking to her. After you paruse her Buzznet Page, we have a feeling you will too!







These are but 10 users—and in no particular order. With new users signing up everyday, there are bound to be more of the like out there.
